"I am a big fan of the Publix in Walton. The staff is always very kind and helpful- I feel they brought leadership from their other stores to continue their culture of prioritizing customer service. The sub line can definitely get backed up, but I ordered mine ahead the other day and it was ready right on time. Checkout lines are usually short as well and the baggers are much better here than at Kroger. Some items can be a bit pricey- I usually focus on their bogos and specials for the week and their fruit and meat prices are competitive. I do find shopping a pleasure here and I'm looking forward to them opening new stores."

"We are vacationing from Florida. I placed a pick up order at this location and I must say that the service was amazing. My husband was waiting in the designated area for a bit and a nice gentleman named Cameron noticed he had been there for a little bit. He came over and asked my husband if he was there for a pick up and my explained that he was. Cameron advised that their phone system was down and he just so happened to see our track in the parking spot waiting. He went above and beyond to gather our groceries and apologized for the inconvenience. Super thankful for this gentleman - had he not approached my husband, he would have been waiting. THIS IS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Thank you Cameron! We appreciate you :)"

"I ordered devil eggs for pickup for Thanksgiving. Ordered them three weeks ago, got a call less than 24 hours before I was to pick up the product that they canceled my order. The excuse was did not get all the items on the delivery truck. \n\nFirst and last time we will be using Publix. If the prices are higher, the service should be better. Extremely disappointed with them."
QUESTION In true bogo, the first item is full price and the second is $0.00. In half bogo, the first item is half of full price and you only have to buy one (the second is also half price, if you choose to get a second item). I know Georgia is half bogo. Florida is true bogo. Can anyone fill in the details for other states Publix operates in ...
Instacart is getting away with receiving the BOGO deal from Publix when I check out but the customer isn’t through the app. The customer is buying from IC not the store. Just like when the store gets deals from their suppliers. Doesnt mean they pass it on exactly as is to the customers. So no, IC does not honour all BOGO's, sale prices at ...
I love shopping the BOGO deals at Publix and I guess I get obnoxious talking about it. One of my friends claims the store is marking things up to cover most or all of the free items and that Publix’s prices are always so high the deals aren’t worth it.
In Georgia when something is BoGo you can get 1 at half price. But when something is buy 2 get 2, you have to get all 4 to get the discount. It's ridiculous. Publix is doing more and more buy 2 get 1s and buy 2 get 2. At some point people are surely gonna stop shopping there right? Lol
(Publix started in Florida, where there has never been a food tax, so it’s always been full price for one, second item completely free) As Publix moved into the northern states, those states had an existing and current food tax. Each item sold has to have a food tax attached to it. Therefore, allowing those states to offer half price on bogo ...
People say they don't want government overreach, they got it. The president has NO control over Publix. Publix has little competition in Florida. If we had another major grocery store that didn't smell like urine, that would their prices in line. Also, housing developments and climate disasters also affect food prices bc farmland is getting killed.
You maximize bogo savings when the items are the same or about the same price. The two exceptions are as above, states that allow you to get 1 item at half price for bogo sales and build your own bogo type sales which expand the items that can be matched for a bogo.
Many stores, especially supermarkets, offer BOGO sales. Some chains in one state actually only require you to buy one item and your get it at 1/2 price. The same chain in another state requires purchase of 2 items to get the deal. Which states by law require the BOGO items be sold at 1/2 off?
