The College Football Playoff (CFP) has finalized broadcast plans for its 2025-26 12-team playoff opening round, with games set to air on multiple networks across two days.
However, another thing that may leave fans a bit testy is the lack of Kirk Herbstreit on ESPN's "College Football Playoff: Top 25." It marks the second straight season that the former Ohio State quarterback and beloved "College GameDay" analyst has not been a part of the show, but it's for a simple reason.
Each CFP rankings show will air on ESPN. Streaming options include FUBO, which offers a free trial to new subscribers. The first 2025 CFP rankings will be released Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 7 p.m. CT. The four subsequent top 25 rankings will be released every Tuesday through Dec. 2.
