The top of the first College Football Playoff rankings looked a lot like the AP Top 25. The top five teams were the same as Sunday’s AP poll, with Ohio State, Indiana, Texas A&M, Alabama and Georgia leading the way in that order. After that, there were some differences.

Arch Manning and Co. just knocked off the Vanderbilt Commodores in Week 10 to earn the No. 11 spot in Tuesday's rankings. At 7-2, Texas likely needs to win out to feel safe about its playoff prospects. Upsets over UGA and A&M would also send the top 10 into chaos. A&M is No. 3 and Georgia is No. 5.

The first CFP Rankings of the 2025 season will be revealed Tuesday night, meaning less than five weeks remain until Selection Sunday on Dec. 7 when the full bracket will be set to determine the second 12-team field.
