According to a report from WrestleVotes, tonight’s SmackDown taping will be for the December 26 episode. Meanwhile, Friday’s taping is expected to cover this week’s episode of SmackDown as well as next week’s episode of RAW. A WWE source said they “believe” that is the plan.

Austin Theory revealed himself as the masked man with a new look in addition to his character change on WWE Monday Night RAW. Upon revealing himself as the mysterious masked man on Monday Night RAW, former WWE United States Champion Austin Theory debuted a new look to go along with his character shift.

Some fans have pointed out that both Ricochet and Braun Strowman were written off TV after being sent crashing through a car by Breakker and Reed respectively. Although Ricochet’s attack was used to write him off WWE TV for good as his contract expired and he later joined rivals AEW, Strowman’s was part of a wider storyline.

If Knight has indeed been written off WWE TV for a while, it’ll leave many questioning how soon “The Megastar” will return. Knight hasn’t had the best of luck in storyline, and he even admitted as much during a promo on “Monday Night Raw.”
