Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady said on Tuesday that his dog, Junie, is a clone of his late pet, Lua, who passed away two years ago. The pit bull mix was shared by Brady with his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen, and their children. The new dog was cloned using a blood sample collected before Lua's death.

This announcement with Brady came alongside another announcement that the company recently acquired biotech company ViaGen Pets & Equine, which also specializes in cloning pets. ViaGen had provided cloning services for Barbra Streisand and Paris Hilton.
